POSITION TITLE: Kinkstore Video Production Technician
JOB LOCATION: San Francisco / On-site
COMPANY: Red System Ventures (common ownership with kink.com)
Reports to the KinkStore Merchandiser & Content Director
Contract to possible hire: $28 - $30 / hr
Job Overview:
KinkStore is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable production technician to join our content production team. The Kink Store production team is focused on the creation of compelling product videography and photography, as well as the creation of vlog, blog, and educational content in support of the store’s product line and mission.
This role requires the ability to work alongside our team and step into the roles of lighting technician, videographer, photographer, editor, production assistant and media management as needed. A solid understanding of the fundamentals of photography, video production & editing is required. A good understanding of the BDSM lifestyle is helpful.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the content production team in all production related tasks including lighting, still photography, videography, audio recording and editing
- Responsible for the capturing, storage and management of all media assets
- Shoots all white out product photography
- Edits content and works with our off-site editors to facilitate the flow of work, and ensure the delivery of completed edits in a timely manner
- Responsible for the proper operation, storage and maintenance of all production equipment.
- Responsible for all production assistant related duties including tracking, stocking, cleaning and maintaining all model related and other production related supplies, sets and props.
- Assists store Merchandiser with administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in photography / videography / editing
- Experience in lighting, sound, and camera equipment.
- Understands the fundamentals of photography and video editing
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Familiar with Google sheets, Adobe editing software, Adobe Photoshop

Kink.com video production now happens in Las Vegas leaving Peter with time to oversee the San Francisco operation which consists of physical product R&D / sales and an educational/event center.
