More options to sort movies and advanced search options

It would be good to have a way to sort the search for newest, most viewed, most downloaded, etc. Also some more advanced search tools, like combine specific words, combine tags, exclude tags, things like that.

    Hiya all, 

    Just like GrindKing111 said, You can search with a shoot number by going to any shoot on Kink.com such as https://www.kink.com/shoot/43864 and then plug the shoot ID into the end of the URL.

    As far as the shoot ID showing up upon download, its what we use to identify the files in the internal database. We can inquire as to whether it is a feasible option to change this. The change, if agreed upon, would only affect new published shoots.


    We also look forward to releasing our new and improved Search function very soon! Stay tuned :)

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We're definitely looking to make improvements to our search filters in the future.  While we don't yet have an estimated date of completion for this project, we will do our best to consider your suggestions in these changes!

    I totally agree.  The way the files are named make it impossible to identify the site, the upload date, or sometimes even the model.  If the naming conventions are going to be so limiting, at least let us search the database using the shoot number.

    Are you referring to the names of files you download? Or, are you having trouble accessing that information when browsing the website?

    Do you have any specific suggestions on how the names can be improved? We are happy to hear your ideas!

    Both actually.  For instance, the Whipped Ass scene with Helena Locke and Ana Foxxx downloads as 43649_WA.mp4.  That gives you the site but no real indication of the models or the upload date (which doesn't reference the shoot date at all).  The Device Bondage scene with Charlotte Cross uploaded on 2-12-16 downloads as 39555_CharlotteC.mp4.  I have just discovered (literally today), that www.kink.com/shoot/shoot# will actually take you to the correct scene.  I've been struggling with the search box.

     

    Regardless, say for instance:

    02122016_39555_Charlotte_Cross_Device_Bondage.  That gives you every piece of information you might need to hunt down a scene.   Currently, if I download several, I have to play every one just to find the one I might be looking for.

     

    Please don't get me wrong.  I love this site and the content it produces.  It's super cool that you have everything available to download.  It's just the metadata nazi in me that craves standardized naming conventions.
